Die Projekt- und Schwergutreederei Beluga Shipping GmbH ist führender Spezialist für maßgeschneiderte Transportlösungen. Als international aufgestellter Logistik-Dienstleister verschifft die Bremer Reederei komplexe Projekt- und Schwergutladung, wie zum Beispiel Fabrikmodule, Hafenkräne, Generatoren oder Windkraftanlagen. Vertreten mit Niederlassungen in zehn Standorten auf vier Kontinenten und der Zentrale in Bremen (Deutschland) gilt die auf Innovation ausgerichtete Reederei gemäß des Instituts für Seeverkehrswirtschaft und Logistik (ISL), Bremen als Weltmarktführer im „Standard Heavy Lift Segment” mit Krankapazitäten ab 240 Tonnen. Die Spezial-Flotte besteht derzeit aus 56 Mehrzweck-Schwergutfrachtern mit Krankapazitäten von bis zu 700 Tonnen im Tandembetrieb und wird bis zum Jahr 2010 strategisch auf 75 Einheiten erweitert, die dann über kombinierte Krankapazitäten von bis zu 1400 Tonnen verfügen. Gegründet wurde die Beluga Shipping GmbH 1995 vom Geschäftsführenden Gesellschafter Niels Stolberg.

As international logistics service provider the Bremen-based shipping company transports complex project and heavy lift cargo, such as plant modules, harbour cranes, generators or windmill equipment. On site in ten locations on four continents and headquartered in Bremen (Germany), the innovative carrier is the world market leader in the “standard heavy lift segment” with crane capacities exceeding 240 tons according to the Institute for Shipping Economics and Logistics, Bremen (Germany). The special fleet currently comprises 56 multipurpose heavy lift project carriers with crane capacities of up to 700 tons in tandem usage and will be strategically expanded to 75 units by 2010, then providing for combined crane capacities of up to 1400 tons. Beluga Shipping GmbH was founded in 1995 by CEO Niels Stolberg.
