Die Projekt- und Schwergutreederei Beluga Shipping GmbH ist führender Spezialist für maßgeschneiderte Transportlösungen. Als international aufgestellter Logistik-Dienstleister verschifft die Bremer Reederei komplexe Projekt- und Schwergutladung, wie zum Beispiel Fabrikmodule, Hafenkräne, Generatoren oder Windkraftanlagen. Mit Niederlassungen in zwölf Standorten auf allen Kontinenten und der Zentrale in Bremen (Deutschland) gilt die auf Innovation ausgerichtete Reederei gemäß des Instituts für Seeverkehrswirtschaft und Logistik (ISL), Bremen, als Weltmarktführer im Project- und Heavy-Lift-Bereich.

Die Spezial-Flotte besteht derzeit aus 66 Mehrzweck-Schwergutfrachtern mit Krankapazitäten von bis zu 700 Tonnen im Tandembetrieb und wird bis zum Jahr 2011 strategisch auf 75 Einheiten erweitert, die dann über kombinierte Krankapazitäten von bis zu 1400 Tonnen verfügen. Gegründet wurde die Beluga Shipping GmbH 1995 vom Geschäftsführenden Gesellschafter Niels Stolberg.

As international logistics service provider the Bremen-based shipping company transports complex project and heavy lift cargo, such as plant modules, harbour cranes, generators or windmill equipment. On site in twelve locations on all continents and headquartered in Bremen (Germany), the innovative carrier is world market leader in the project and heavy lift cargo segment according to the Institute for Shipping Economics and Logistics, Bremen. The special fleet currently comprises 66 multipurpose heavy lift project carriers with crane capacities of up to 700 tons in tandem usage and will be strategically expanded to 75 units by 2011, then providing for combined crane capacities of up to 1400 tons. Beluga Shipping GmbH was founded in 1995 by CEO Niels Stolberg.
